Australia & New Zealand IPSA
Description:
We are the official Australia and New Zealand chapter of the Institute for Psycho-Systems Analysis (IPSA) which itself was formed in 1989, in the UK.
Our membership is made up of practicing clinicians and students, in the Psycho-Systems Analysis modality of depth psychology.
Our neuropsychoanalytic study group has been created to further our understanding of affective neuroscience and neuropsychoanalysis, as they may be applied from within a clinical framework.
We hold regular study sessions, and develop our understanding of neuropsychoanalysis, as it relates to the IPSA modality. We firmly believe that the neuropsychoanalytic work of professor Solms is at the cutting edge of modern depth psychology, and has considerable overlap with the psycho-systems analytic approach.
Our student members look forward to qualifying in psycho-systems analysis, and then to undertaking post-qualification training to enter the clinical register of the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society.
