Suggested Readings on Models and Theories

In order to gain a good working knowledge of any field it is important to have a solid understanding of the models and theories that shape and inform research and clinical practice. When multiple disciplines are involved, this task can appear extremely daunting! To help to facilitate the process through the distillation of key information, this reading list offers some of the key models and theories that serve as grounding in the fields of psychoanalysis, neuropsychology and neuroscience in general. These readings are subdivided into those that relate to affective and psychodynamic neuroscience, as well as to the treatment of various disorders.
