There is an interesting junior professor position in neuropsychoanalysis (3-5 years) at a postdoctoral level (PhD in psychology) opening up at the Université de Lorraine in Nancy in the form of a ‘CPJ’, “une chaire de professeur junior”. Areas of required expertise are: psychoanalysis and clinical psychology and/or psychopathology – and brain sciences and/or cognitive sciences and/or psycho-neurolinguistics, or associated domains. Any valuable project in the broad domain of neuropsychoanalysis will be welcome.
A doctoral degree and international (post-doctoral) experience are required, as well as a good track record. The position involves about 50 hours of teaching per year; if you don’t speak French readily then there will be adjustments in the first year. There is a starting grant of 200k for a candidate who has a doctoral degree or for a candidate with post-doctoral experience, with the possibility of getting tenured at the end of the three years. The position is located at the Interpsy Laboratory (where Dr Ariane Bazan is the Director), which has expertise in psychoanalysis and neuropsychoanalysis and access to an experimental platform (including EEG, eye-tracker, virtual reality). The Lab also has interdisciplinary collaborations with top level neuroscientists and psycholinguists.
