Since 1999, neuropsychoanalytic activities have been undertaken in various forms, including the Society, the journal Neuropsychoanalysis, the Neuropsychoanalysis Centre in London, the Arnold Pfeffer Center for Neuropsychoanalysis of the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute in New York City, and the research grant program administered by the Neuropsychoanalysis Foundation in New York.
Three funding entities have been supporting all of these activities in various ways. In 2012, the de facto close cooperation of these entities was formalized with the formation of the Neuropsychoanalysis Association, an affiliation of the Neuropsychoanalysis Fund based in London, the Neuropsychoanalysis Foundation based in New York, and the Neuropsychoanalysis Trust based in Cape Town.
