Neuropsychoanalysis – Open school
7 PM (Israel time)
A group of members of the Neuropsychoanalysis and EMDR societies in Israel have been meeting in the past several years and looking at different issues relating to the interface between these two approaches. This time they are also offering access to their group to international members of the Neuropsychoanalysis and EMDR communities/societies. They are planning to discuss different articles, present cases using different psychotherapeutic orientations, and develop a meeting point of different modes of thinking. Udi Oren from the EMDR Israel Association and Irith Raveh-Barzel from the Neuropsychoanalytic Society will lead a discussion about the concept of Trauma. Udi will present a case of a client who went through the psychotherapeutic use of psychedelics and who did EMDR work focusing on that experience. Irith will respond with a discussion on the possible consequences of those drugs. They will open the discussion to members who will be interested in thinking about it with them.
