European Group for Developmental NPSA
Description:
The aim of this group is to build a new model of human development from phylogeny to ontogeny, integrating psychoanalytic and neurodevelopment points of view. Another goal of the group is to cultivate an effective application policy of this knowledge in order to promote a full development of the plasticity of human potential.
For the purpose of the integration of different aspects of the reality of the human brain-mind-soul, the group is open to different kinds of specialists who are interested in the topic: psychoanalysts, psychotherapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, ethologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, researchers, neurologists and also speech therapists, educational psychologists, neuro- and psychomotility of the age of development, philosophers, social workers, midwives, etc. Given that the early stages of childhood have a huge impact on the subsequent development of the physical and mental health of adults, the group is also open to different kinds of professional roles such as pediatricians, internal medicine professionals, etc.
The group welcomes as well members of other Italian or European NPSA groups that want to create a network on the topic of the neuropsychoanalytic development and the plasticity of human potential.
