GEPECH-NpCn/CEMCO/UNIFESP/BRAZIL
Description:
We are a group from the Center for Studies in Behavioral Medicine at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP/Brazil) that conducts studies and research in neuropsychoanalysis. Since 2005, our group has met on a weekly basis, without interruption, for the purpose of studying and researching human behavior and neuropsychoanalysis. Our team includes four area supervisors and ten research assistants. Our research proposal involves a transdisciplinary study between the disciplines of psychoanalysis, neuroscience and philosophy. We are also dedicated to producing research methodology and publications in the field of neuropsychoanalysis. Our goal is to develop transdisciplinary knowledge between neuroscience, philosophy and neo-Kleinian psychoanalysis, whilst considering the viscocaric, schizoparanoid and depressive positions (Melanie Klein).
