Ten years have passed since our 1st IPD/NPSA Rome Conference on Trauma, Depression and Addiction. These pathological conditions remain central to clinical work as well as in contemporary applied neuroscience and neuropsychoanalysis. In this 10th edition, the aim is to update our understanding of the scientific research of these topics summoning most of the leading scholars in Neuroscience and Neuropsychoanalysis. What has changed after ten years? The choice of providing a space for reflecting on this question, is essential from also a theoretical point of view. The conference represents a critical and innovative approach in IPD years long endeavour to build bridges between hard sciences and clinical psychoanalysis.
