October meeting of the Pfeffer Center for Neuropsychoanalysis, NYC
What neuropsychoanalytic thoughts were you thinking this summer?
Come to the Pfeffer Center this Saturday and engage in an open discussion with colleagues about the ideas you’ve been exploring.
Were you pondering consciousness, or the unconscious? Bayesian theory or embodied cognition, affective touch or meditation? Object relations or neuroplasticity? Or something completely different?
Maybe you had a brainstorm about how some piece of brain science illuminated a clinical problem – or vice versa. Has neuropsychoanalysis impacted your work with patients? We’d love to hear about it.
This meeting will be a facilitated discussion, with no invited speakers – a space to come together and share thoughts, questions, insights, new directions, old puzzles, and more.
