The Israeli Society of Neuropsychoanalysis and the Neuropsychoanalysis Open School proudly announce the launch of the Third Seminar of Re-reading Freud.
We are pleased to introduce the Revised Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud — a long-awaited milestone in the field.
This year-long theoretical seminar will continue to explore selected texts from the revised edition, re-examining Freud’s seminal concepts through the lens of contemporary neuroscience. Participants will engage in 10 seminars dedicated to
specific work from the Revised Edition.
The seminar will be recorded, and recordings will be available to the participants for the following two years at the website neuropsychoanalysis.co.il.
Seminar Structure
Each session will follow a structured format to foster in-depth discussion and critical engagement:
• 90-minute presentation by Prof. Mark Solms, editor of the Revised Standard Edition
• 20-minute interactive discussion with participants
• 10-minute reflection on seminar structure and participant needs
This intellectually enriching series offers a unique opportunity to stay at the forefront of psychoanalytic thought and contribute to shaping its scientific evolution in the 21st century.
