Turkish Neuropsychoanalysis Study Group
Description:
The Istanbul Neuropsychoanalysis Study Group was founded in 2006 by Gökçe Özkarar-Gradwohl as a non-institutional, interdisciplinary group. It is open to participants from all universities and departments, and all psychotherapy centers and psychotherapy schools. It was formally accepted by the International Society for Neuropsychoanalysis in 2006, and designated as the Turkish Neuropsychoanalysis Study Group in 2013. As a result of its activities (including İstanbul Npsa Seminars, Npsa and Affective Neuroscience research, congress presentations, and publications), collaborations have been successfully built with local associations, and a network now exists that spreads beyond the borders of Istanbul to many other cities.
The activities of the group are regularly reported in the bulletin of the Neuropsychoanalysis journal.
