Transport from airport
There is an excellent high-speed train between the airport and central Trieste, which runs frequently, takes about 30 minutes, and costs approximately € 5. Cars or van transport can also be arranged in advance. Please note there is no Uber or Lyft in Trieste.

Many attendees will be staying at one of three hotels (Hotel Bristol, Urban Hotel and Hotel Savoia). Discount rates to registrants of the Congress have now expired, but rooms may still be available at market rates. In addition, a very inexpensive lodging option (the Opera Figli Del Popolo) may still have rooms. See details below.
At all hotels, reservations and payment are the sole responsibility of the participant; the Society does not sponsor or manage the reservations. If you have already made a reservation, please note whatever cancellation policy you were provided by the respective hotel. (Please note: there is an abundance of hotels, AirBnBs, and other lodging options in Trieste, which you may choose to investigate on your own.)
